FMD-Face Mix Design
To ensure product and colour consistency over the course of a project, CanBuild pre-bags its face mix to provide certainty of mix proportions giving consistency in materials and colour.
A mixture of GRC panels and GRP panels have been employed on the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre in Baku, Azerbaijan (above). The GRC face mix on this project has been manufactured with industrially pre-blended face mix from CanBuild: Face Mix by Design (FMD-007).
The GRP panels were manufactured using the same face mix raw materials to give an identical visual appearance between the GRP and the GRC surface finishes.
